This World Mental Health Day, we encourage everyone to take 10 minutes out of their day for self-care using the ‘Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing

Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing provides simple and effective strategies to affect our health and wellbeing in a positive way

It is easy to start adding ‘Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing’ to your daily routine – anyone can do it – and it is important because taking care of your mental health and managing stress helps to improve your resilience. It also can help you if you support or care for others.

The ‘Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing’ are:

  • Health Roadshows – Members of the Health Improvement Team and Dietetics will come to your workplace and provide information on a range of topics to support the health and wellbeing of your staff: get more information here
  • bWell Pop-Up Stand at Spoons Restaurant RVH on Monday the 14th of October 2024. Visit our information stand to get Health and Wellbeing information and support
  • Trust Choir: meets Tuesdays from 5.45 pm -7 pm at Musgrave Park Church – please email here4U@belfasttrust.hscni.net to reserve a place. Check out the Choir here

  • bWell Information Session – Thursday the 17th of October at 12.30 pm
  • Top Tips for Looking After Yourself – Tuesday the 15th of October at 2 pm – 4.30 pm
  • Take 5 Information Session – Monday the 21st of October at 12.30 pm
  • Mind Ur Mind for Staff – Wednesday the 2nd of October at 12.30 pm
  • Mind Ur Mind for Managers – Wednesday the 9th of October at 12.30 pm
  • Living Life to the Full – starts on Thursday the 30th of October (6-week programme) at Bradbury Health and Wellbeing Centre (Max 10 places available). The sessions will run from 5.30 pm – 7 pm.
