Stress Awareness Month
April is Stress Awareness Month and there’s no better time to check out the resources available to help you deal with stress on the B Well website. The Mind Ur Mind section includes a guided meditation, links to self-care tools and sources of support related to stress.
One of the best ways to manage stress is to move your body. Any type of physical activity is beneficial to our mental health – gardening, dancing, going to the gym, cycling, running or walking. The Here4U Programme has a wide range of activities that are free to Trust staff and offer exercise and enjoyment. Activities commence on Monday 6th May. Left unchecked, chronic stress can lead to mental and physical health problems. If you are concerned about the impact of stress on your health please speak to your GP or one of the sources of support listed in the Mind Ur Mind Toolkit.

The aim of the session is to enable all staff to promote and protect their emotional wellbeing, to contribute to an understanding and supportive work environment, and to help managers to support the mental and emotional wellbeing of their staff.

bWell Information session
The bWell session provides an overview of Staff Health and Wellbeing within the Belfast Trust. The session will highlight what support and information staff can avail of on a wide range of issues, alongside training opportunities and access to events.
