The Health Improvement Team are committed to positively impacting on the health and wellbeing of Belfast Trust staff.

Working to Government health priorities we co-ordinate and facilitate health improvement activity and provide a resource of information and advice. The service works directly with staff and the public as well as in partnership with other statutory, voluntary and community organisations.

HIV Awareness Sessions

HIV AWARENESS SESSIONS
March – May 2026

 

HIV Awareness training is mandatory for all Health & Social Care Staff with direct patient and client contact within the Belfast HSC Trust. However, HIV Awareness training is open to ALL staff from ALL HSC Trusts. The Sexual Health Training Team, Health Improvement Department, is offering online HIV Awareness sessions that will be delivered through MS Teams, making them easily accessible for HSC staff.
The session lasts approximately two and a half hours and provides a good opportunity to learn more about HIV, raise personal and professional awareness of prevention, testing and treatment.

PLEASE NOTE:- It is expected that a Trust email address is used to enrol for and access this training. Personal email addresses may be denied access.

STI's Awareness Training Dates

STIs Awareness Training is available to all Health & Social Care Staff within the Belfast H&SC Trust. The Sexual Health Training Team, Health Improvement Department, is offering online STIs Awareness sessions that will be delivered through MS Teams, making them easily accessible for HSC Staff. The session lasts approximately 1.5 hours and provides a good opportunity to learn more about Sexually Transmitted Infections, raise personal and professional awareness of prevention, testing, and treatment.
