Falls Prevention Awareness Week 2026 takes place from September 21 to September 25, 2026.
This year’s core theme is “From Awareness to Action”, emphasizing that falls are not an inevitable part of aging and are largely preventable.
The next BHSCT Community Falls Team Falls Prevention Roadshow is on Wednesday 23rd Sept 10.30am – 1.30pm during UK Falls Prevention Awareness Week!
This will mark the 5th roadshow delivered since May 2025 in partnership with IKEA, so far bringing total public engagement to over 400 attendances, demonstrating ongoing community interest and the importance of falls prevention initiatives.
