Walk this May – Walking Routes
May is national walking month and we would like to encourage everyone to walk a little more, whether it’s through active travel, lunchtime walks or walking more around the workplace.

Events in May
To launch the New Knockbracken Healthcare Park Walking Routes, The Health Improvement Team have organised staff walks during May for each of the 3 walks on the route
- Monday 11th May
- Wednesday 20th May
- Wednesday 27th May
All walks will commence at 12.30pm meeting at the Admin Building.

- The Walk, Wheel Cycle Trust facilitate walking and cycling programmes free for BHSCT staff more information can be found here: Walk Wheel Cycle Trust bWell
- Walk Leader Training – This one day training will equip those attending with the skills necessary to promote and lead safe and enjoyable walking sessions for people of all ages and abilities. For more information contact donaghy@belfasttrust.hscni.net
So why not join in …this can be done by taking photographs (with permission) when you are out walking during May and uploading them to all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter….) making sure to include the following hashtags:
