Parenting Family Hub
The Parenting Family Hub is one of a suite of wellbeing resources for parents provided by Parenting Family, a social enterprise of Parenting NI.
Parenting Family includes a number of resources that employers can make available to support their parent employees, including wellbeing sessions, financial wellbeing webinars, top tip sessions and the Parenting Family Hub, which is suitable for all parents.
Here on Parenting Family Hub you will find information on current topics relevant for families of all ages and stages, including Behaviour and Consequences, Digital Safety, and Emotions and Wellbeing. The Hub will help you navigate your parenting journey, whatever that looks like. It is our aim that, by ensuring you know you aren’t alone, you’ll feel supported to achieve a great life-work balance and be encouraged in your parenting role.
As a subsidiary of Parenting NI, we are committed to sharing our specialist knowledge not only locally but also regionally, nationally and internationally to assist individuals in a parenting role to enhance their parenting skills; ultimately with the aim of improving outcomes for the children and young people in their care.
We offer a wide variety of resources on the Parenting Family Hub, created by our highly trained Parenting NI team on the topics that really matter to parents, inspiring parents to enhance their parenting skills and knowledge and subsequently experience levels of wellbeing, linked to stronger familial relationships.
Parenting Family is particularly suited to the private sector where employers can become members of the Hub, offering their parent employees much needed support and encouragement in their parenting role.
Increasingly, individuals require organisations to be flexible and supportive of their caring responsibilities by fostering a culture that is inclusive and family friendly. Evidence suggests that this in turn will result in better employee retention, less absenteeism and a more contented and focussed workforce. When employees are satisfied with stress levels and work-life balance, they are more inclined to stay with their employer.
Parenting Family’s aim is to empower and support working parents and families whilst driving social impact through supporting the sustainability of a local charity.
