International Men’s Day 19th November 2026
International Men’s Day is on Thursday 19th November and is celebrated worldwide. The aim is to promote the positive value men bring to their family, friends and community and also to highlight positive role models, encouraging men to talk about manhood, masculinity, and raise awareness of men’s well-being.
To mark the day, Belfast Trust Health Improvement Team are working with partners to hold an event to promote the work of Men’s Sheds and other men’s groups:
SHEDFEST 2026 International Men’s Day Event will take place on Thursday 19th November from 10am to 3pm at the Titanic Hotel. To find out more or register your interest in attending please contact clare.flynn@belfasttrust.hscni.net.

The event aims to encourage connections between groups and promoting opportunities under 3 themes: Health, Heritage and Home. There will be a series of talks on health issues affecting men and free health checks will be available. The event will also be helpful for anyone who works with men to find out about the wide range of groups, services and support for men in the community.
