5th March 2026
Nutrition and Hydration week
The Public Health Dietitians, Health Improvement Team, and Belfast Trust Catering Team would like to highlight Nutrition and Hydration Week taking place 16th– 22nd March 2026.
This annual campaign emphasises the importance of eating well and staying hydrated to support overall health and wellbeing. It’s a chance to promote simple, practical steps, such as including more fruit and vegetables, choosing wholegrains and aiming for 6–8 glasses of fluid a day.
Across the Trust, staff and visitors are encouraged to make small, sustainable changes. Hydration is made easy in our restaurants and coffee shops with free tap water, bottled water, low‑fat milk, fruit juice, tea/coffee, low‑calorie and no added sugar drinks as well as accessible refill stations.
Prioritising good nutrition and hydration can help boost energy, concentration, immunity and overall wellbeing at work and at home.
