The focus this year is ‘Putting carers on the Map’.
Belfast Trust is delighted to once again participate in celebration Carers Week – 10th to 17th June.
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities.
It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.
Across Belfast, there are over 40,000 people providing unpaid and family care to loved ones and Belfast Trust recognises the invaluable support that carers play in our local communities.
In response to this we have a great programme of varied events and activities for you focused on support and wellbeing for Carers to enjoy across the 7 days.
