Learn and Love to Lino Print!
Foyer, Cancer Centre
Thursday 22nd February
from 10am throughout the day – just drop in
Open to all STAFF, facilitated by Arts Care Artists (no experience necessary)
- Participants will be shown basic techniques in the design, creation of lino printing templates, rolling and printing with ink.
- Create unique printed cards or A5 artworks for staff to take away!
- Use pre carved lino templates to get creative with your colours! (allow 10-15mins to complete)
- Carve your own lino template and print (allow 20-30 mins to complete)
This workshop is part of the CREATIVE STAFF WELLBEING PROGRAMME supported by BHSCT Charitable Funds
The programme aims to:
- Ignite or inspire staff to explore creativity as a way of supporting their wellbeing
- Remind staff that have previously had a creative practice that this is something that may be worth revisiting to support their wellbeing
- Remind staff of the importance and benefits of taking a break during the working day to focus on something else
- Promote the 5 Steps to Wellbeing messages and how creative activity
