28th Annual Regional Sexual Health Conference for NI
The Belfast Trust Health Improvement Department’s Sexual Health Training Team is on the cusp of delivering its 28th Annual Regional Sexual Health Conference for Northern Ireland.
This year’s theme is ‘Sexual Health & Wellbeing in Ireland’, bringing together over 200 delegates on Wednesday 28th November to engage in a diverse programme of Key Note inputs and workshop sessions designed to update, connect, and enthuse all those with a professional interest in improving Sexual Health and wellbeing.
We look forward to contributions from a wide range of professionals, with a focus on issues such as:
- Sexual Health Action Plan for NI
- Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) in Schools;
- GU Medicine Updates from R.O.I & N.I.
- Sexually Transmitted Infections & Young People;
- Sexual & Reproductive Health Care, including an update on clinical services;
- HIV in Ireland;
- Eliminating Blood Bourne Virus with those experiencing Homelessness;
- Psychosexual & Adult Gender Identity Services;
- Working with Looked After Young People and their Sexual Health & Wellbeing;
- The Gillen Review
- Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse
- Caring for Victims of Sexual Violence

The interest has been extremely high resulting in the conference places now being fully booked.
