Caves and Woodland – Exploring Cave Hill and Glas-na-Bradan Wood:
Take the path less travelled on this hike with takes you off the main path through Ballyaghagan’s Nature Conservation area to the Woodland Trust’s new Glas-na-Bradan Wood just behind Cave Hill. You will then ascend to the iconic McArt’s Fort before returning homewards.
Much of this walk is on informal heathland paths so may be muddy underfoot.
