This half day programme introduces participants to the Community Resiliency Model (CRM) which is designed to help individuals understand the biology of traumatic stress reactions and learn specific skills to return the body, mind and spirit back to balance after experiencing traumatic events. These skills can awaken the hope that has, for some, been lost after events such as the pandemic.

The programme will introduce participants to wellness skills which have developed using the latest knowledge in neuroscience. CRM training helps people build their personal resilience by understanding the biology of stress reactions as well as learning how to apply these wellness skills to bring body and mind back into a natural balance and to a sense of inner strength, calm and control.

CRM’s overall goal is to help create “trauma-informed” and “resiliency-focused” communities that share a common understanding of the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system, and to learn how resiliency can be restored or increased using the wellness skills-based approach.
