The Health Improvement Team are committed to positively impacting on the health and wellbeing of Belfast Trust staff.
Working to Government health priorities we co-ordinate and facilitate health improvement activity and provide a resource of information and advice. The service works directly with staff and the public as well as in partnership with other statutory, voluntary and community organisations.

The Health Improvement Team’s Top Tips for Looking After Yourself Programme is open to all Belfast Trust staff. This 2 hour interactive workshop is delivered to a small group over MS Teams.

HIV Awareness Sessions
HIV AWARENESS SESSIONS
AUGUST – SEPTEMBER 2023HIV Awareness training is mandatory for all Health & Social Care Staff with direct patient and client contact. The Sexual Health Training Team offers HIV Awareness sessions that are delivered online through MS Teams, making them easily accessible for Belfast HSC Trust staff. The sessions last approximately 2 hours and provide a good opportunity to learn more about HIV, raise personal and professional awareness of prevention, testing and treatment.
